India’s No. 1 Trade Fair for Health Services & Health Products was held at the Bombay Convention Centre this March with over 8000+ visitors, and 440+ exhibitors from nearly 23 countries across the globe. Given this was the best platform for information exchange, networking and understanding of current trends in the healthcare market, Vissco most definitely had significant presence at the exhibition.
On par with its international counterparts, Vissco had its ‘A’ Team of top 20 people at the exhibition to cater to over 400+ visitors that walked into its stall during the 3 days. Like companies from other countries, Vissco too shared its Visco Products innovations created especially for the Indian medical fraternity & consumers in need.

If you find it difficult to walk or get around, you may need a mobility aid as support when walking or to feel for obstacles and barriers if your sight is impaired. Your local Health and Social Care Trust is responsible for assessing your mobility and identifying a suitable mobility or walking aid.
Invalid Folding Walker Plain:
Getting from Point A to Point B may not be as easy for everyone. For those that have suffered from a stroke, post lower limb surgery, cerebral palsy, a lower limb fracture or any peripheral nerve disorder, walking again, is an exciting but challenging task. The Invalid Foldable adjustable walker plain provides a larger base of support facilitating balancing while walking. It provides four additional points of contact and a stable center for gravity positioning. The walker directs the load through the arms and the walking aid, thus lowering the impact and static forces transmitted to the affected limbs. Being light weight and having soft hand grips makes it an ideal walking companion.

A walker or walking frame is a tool for disabled or elderly people who need additional support to maintain balance or stability while walking. The British English common equivalent term for a Vissco Walker is Zimmer frame, a generalized trademark from Zimmer Holdings, a major manufacturer of such devices and joint replacement parts.
The person walks with the frame surrounding their front and sides and their hands provide additional support by holding on to the top of the sides of the frame. A different approach to the walker is the rollator, also called wheeled walker. The rollator consists of a frame with three or four large wheels, handlebars and a built-in seat, which allows the user to stop and rest when needed.
